राजकीय महाविद्यालय काण्डा, में मानव विज्ञान का संचालन शिक्षा सत्र 2017-18 से प्रारम्भ हुआ। वर्तमान में महाविद्यालय में मानव विज्ञान स्नातक बी0ए0 स्तर पर एक मुख्य विषय के रूप में संचालित किया जा रहा है। मानव विज्ञान विषय में देश और विदेश दोनों स्तर पर नौकरी के बेहतर अवसर उपलब्ध हैं। भारत में आर्कियोलाॅजिकल सर्वे आॅफ इंडिया, प्लेनिंग कमिशन जैसे संस्थानों में रिसर्च जाॅब उपलब्ध है। साथ ही यूनेस्को और यूनिसेफ जैसे इंटरनैशनल आर्गनाइइजेशन में भी आपको मौका मिल सकता है। इसके अलावा क्यूरेटर टूर, गाइड, हिस्टोरिकल सोसाइटी गवर्नमेंट ऐजेन्सी, डाॅक्यूमंेट्री फिल्म कंपनी, कालेज, यनिवर्सिटीज, इंश्योरेंस कंपनी, लाइब्रेरी, फोरेन्सीक लेबोरेटरी, परामर्श दाता आदि में अपनी सेवा प्रदान कर सकते हैं।

Currently, undergraduate course in Geography is running in the college as one of the major subjects for B.A. Geography undergraduate course has started since the 2017-18 batch. Geography helps us to have an awareness of a place. All places and spaces have a history behind them, shaped by humans, earth, and climate. It also helps students with spatial awareness on the globe.

Department of Hindi:
भाषा सम्प्रेषण का माध्यम है और साहित्य विभिन्न कालखंडों में उत्पन्न हुए विचारों का संग्रह है। साहित्य के माध्यम से विभिन्न कालखंडों में रहने वाली जनता एवं लोक के विचारों, भावों एवं क्रियाकलापों से विद्यार्थियों को परिचित कराने के उद्देश्य से सत्र 2009-2010 से राजकीय महाविद्यालय काण्डा में हिंदी विभाग की स्थापना की गई। तदुपरांत भाषा एवं साहित्य के गहन अध्ययन हेतु सत्र 2017-2018 से महाविद्यालय में स्नातकोत्तर की कक्षाओं के संचालन की अनुमति प्राप्त हुई। हिन्दी भाषा एवं साहित्य में रुचि उत्पन्न करने के उद्देश्य से विभाग समय-समय पर विभिन्न कविता पाठ, कविता लेखन, पोस्टर सृजन, भाषण आदि प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन करता रहता है।

Department of History:
The Department of History was established at the Government Degree College, Kanda in the year 2009-2010. It was started with a three year Bachelors level program i.e. B.A. The classes at the Master’s level were started with the academic session 2017-18. The department runs B.A. and M.A. programs in the semester mode. B.A. three year Course that is segregated into 6 semesters and M.A. is a two year course that is further segregated into 4 semesters. Studying history helps us to understand how events occurred in past and how they affected today’s world. It also develop the abilities to create a better path for the society. The department is working actively for the academic and all round development of the students. Various programs such as speech, essay, quiz, poster, slogan competition, national days etc. are organized by the department from time to time for the overall development of the students.
